Yet again, San Lorenzo Canyon


A hint for those going into the outback to view wildlife, scenery, or whatever. Often the trip out is more productive than the trip in. These photos were all snapped outbound. The photo above would benefit from enhancements through an editing program. It might out the backlighting and sky tones that the camera did not catch or at least this presentation does not show. None of the photos on this blog have been "retouched." I will do that when I put together the coffee table book that will be stupidly expensive but a great Christmas gift.


A lesser chipmunk. He was more than cordial as far as posing for photos.


The "fuzziness" of the photo is due to using the extremeness of extreme telephoto. This red tail hawk discovered he was not welcome in the area as a bird half his size ran, of flew, him off.
