KIVA RV CAMP AND HORSE MOTEL

All RV parks/campgrounds have their own personality. Sometimes it takes time to find the peculiar attributes. Not so with KIVA. As you drive in there are "signs.'

This is a VERY small sample to suggest the decorative elements in the "community room." Anti-government and pro-gun statements are attractively arrange amid pictures of John Wayne. To be fair, aside from an old bolt action .22 mounted high on the wall I have not seen any firearms in the park.

"I've gone to look for America." (Paul Simon)

The camp sites are nice.

It really is a horsey place too.

AND you can practice the western skill of walking across a cattle guard without breaking an ankle.

AND if you get tired of the RV you can settle down.

Please note that it takes about 100 acres to feed one "little doggie" so your 20 acre "ranch" will require extraordinary land management.

The park was nice and the people friendly. The political atmosphere was a tad uneasy. There was almost always a great sunrise.
